Desiree Martinez

Since her freshman year, Desiree has been involved in the UHS Art Community. She is currently the Treasurer of the RUHS Latino Student Union, and has been a member since the club’s beginning. Outside of school, Desiree is a student under STEP: Student Expedition Program, a community-based organization which aims to support first-generation students throughout the college admissions process. She is a part of the TUSD Mexican American Student Advisory Council, where she and her peers discuss Latino concerns and advocacy within the school district. Desiree has a strong commitment to both her academic pursuits and her community. In her free time, Desiree enjoys playing the violin, working on her art, and listening to music. When it comes to politics, Desiree is the Ace!
